I’ve been getting back into drone building and drone racing again.
Last year a new breed of drones emerged called cinewhoops. I’m totally hooked on these things. They can go through very narrow spaces and even bump into things without them crashing. One of the best thing are that you control them in the same way as racing drones, completely manual without any computers stabilizing them or gps guiding them around obstacles.
This particular drone is an Iflight megabee running a Gopro hero 6 black camera. I bought it pre-built (BNF) But have already broken it so many time that I’ve more or less completely built it from scratch numerous of times.
Some skills in building these are indeed needed. But for some people, the building is as fun as flying.
